• 1984 - At the age of 13 Shane gets to install his first windshield while continuing to maintain his duties of cleaning up after the seasoned installers at his dad's glass shop.
• 1989 - Shane is now working at his dad's glass shop while attending Cameron University as a full time student majoring in Computer Technology.
• 1991 -  Shane begins to learn about the daily operations in the office of the glass business as he begins intergrating a fully computerized network of computers into the family glass business.  This system was among the first to have a full catalog lookup for glass parts, intergrated accounting, as well as EDI(electronic data interchange) with insurance companies for glass claims.
• 1992 - Within the year the business had become a test sight for developing a streamlined process all the way from the first contact with the customer, to online ordering the glass from suppliers for overnight delivery, to finally creating the electronic billing for the insurance company.  With the guidance and backing of Gene, Shane had now helped to create a standard that several glass shops from across the country used in their own business models after making trips to the Lawton glass shop and seeing the streamlined process.
• 1993 - Shane was now very involved in managing the day to day operations of his father's business and the business had become an active testing sight for new product development.  In addition Shane was invited to area glass trade shows to demonstrate auto glass installation techniques to other glass shops that were now being used in the business making the company a leader in the complete auto glass replacement process.
• 1995 - Gene decided to retire and Shane became a partial owner of his dad's business with one brother while the second brother went out on his own to buy R&R Bumper & Truck Accessories.
• 1999 - A second glass shop was opened in Altus, OK to serve far western Oklahoma.
• 2000 - The Duncan location was opened at 1826 N HIghway 81 across the highway for Wal-Mart.
• 2002 - The Duncan glass shop moved to the current location at 5375 N HIghway 81.  
• 2005 - Shane sold his interest of the Lawton and Altus businesses and purchased full ownership of the Duncan location.  At that time the Duncan location was renamed Shane Burk Auto Glass.
• 2006 - Shane Burk Auto Glass expanded its service area to include all of Southwest Oklahoma including Lawton, Altus, Chickasha, Ardmore, Anadarko as well as continuing to service Stephens County.
• 2011 - Shane Burk Glass expanded the services offered to include home and business glass as well as continuing to offer the same high quality of auto glass replacement.

Shane Burk Auto Glass is located on North Highway 81 in Duncan.
Our address is 5375 North Highway 81.
We are between Camelback road  and Osage road on the West side of Highway 81.

From Marlow:  We are 2 and 1/2 miles south of the Lawton/Duncan "Y" on the west side of 81.

From Duncan: We are 1/2 mile north of Camelback Road on the west side of 81.  Go past our shop to Osage and complete the U-Turn on Highway 81 and come back to our shop.
